Dial up through a lan on 98

I have 2 computers downstairs onlt one has a modem. Both have 98 se. I want to be able to dial up the modem on the other from teh one that does not have it. I have doen it it xp but i dont know how to do it in 98.

Well, as long as the one without the modem looks to the one with the modem for Internet access DUN will automatically dial a connection when any request for an internet connection is made if configured right.

You'll have to go to 'Add/Remove Programs' and make sure ICS is installed. It will/should be under the Windows Components. It's been awhile since I've used 98SE, so verbatim may be off.

Anyway, once you have it installed, the wizard should walk you through making a floppy disk so you can setup the PC w/o the modem.
