I was reading an article in the Wall Street Journal that Cisco is trying to buy out Linksys but they are trying to keep the deal all hush hush. Has anyone else heard anything else about this? I can't seem to find anything else about it besides in the WSJ.
If Cisco wants to keep it quiet, they're doing a lousy job. A co-worker of mine who is a CCNA received a letter from Cisco saying they are in the process of purchasing Linksys.
yeah, Cisco has put numerous news postings on their website about it, and I believe that even cnn.com got ahold of it back in march or so.
It's a big deal to me because the only two wireless cards that will be allowed on campus next year will be cisco and linksys...wonder what will happen after they converge, as both cards are excellent...
Guess I'm just a bit slow on the uptake.
