Kids cutting off ISP connect with win98SE

i asked this question once before and cannot find the thread.

on our 98se machine,i would like to disconnect the isp within windows, without having to physically pulling the cable out of the router.

on our xp pro,i can rclick my network places and hit properties and disable it there, but i dont know anyway to do the same thing on the 98se machine.

i rclick network neighborhood and hit properties, but that certainly doesnt have any way of doing it.

any suggestions would be appreciated,eh??

are you one dialup or highspeed internet? if dialup and you have internet connection sharing then all you would need to do is right click the internet connection in your taskbar and click disconnect. that is if you are on the computer that dials the internet. for highspeed internet I don't think you would need to disconnect.

How about running winipcfg and click release. That should do it, huh?

What I actually do is run ZA and click the Stop all Internet Activity button.
