Wireless antenna Cable

I just purchased a Belkin wireless 802.11b PCI card and I am having a ton of trouble connecting to my wireless network. I think its because the antenna's line of sight is obscured by a large water-filled radiator in my room. If I move the tower out to the middle of my room then it gets a better signal, but its not a permenant solution.

My question is, does anyone know of an extension cable that would get my antenna up on top of say, my monitor, thereby getting a better signal than under my desk? I have looked but I can't really find anything. The antenna on the card is removable so it shouldnt be a problem to do this, one would think.

I use the Linksys USB wireless adapters for just that reason. You can mount them higher up. I know that doesn't answer your question, though. I don't know of an extension cable. If you can't find one, think about selling the card and buying a USB wireless adapter. Several companies make them now.
