Zybercom is on a distinguished road
booting from USB device
Can anyone say with certainty if its possible to boot from, say, one of the new Flash drives? I understand the BIOS would have to support that function , but haven't heard of any yet that do?

Don't know for sure but I would guess that the BIOS would have to have a selection to boot from USB for that to happen.

I would guess not. Windows doesnt support USB devices when its in safe mode, so I don't think you could use USB devices before you even attempt to get into your OS of choice. But then again, I could be wrong.

I have an external USB Floppy that I use for my laptop...

and yes, you can boot from it.

I have an older ASUS P4T MB and I can boot from a USB floppy drive...so it is possible, and my board is probably about 2 years old.
