Screensavers

I've never been jealous of people with macs, until now. My roomate bought a new Ibook, and it's pretty neat looking. Well, it has this screensaver on it that kicks ass. It takes pictures that you have stored on your computer and displays them on the screen in a slideshow. Now, I realize that that alone is nothing special, however it's the way they are displayed that makes it neat. It will zoom in, zoom out, pan across, up and down on the pictures and fade between them, and it's all done so smoothly! None of this "window blind" transition stuff. It looks really cool.

Now, my question is, is there a screensaver that's similar for a PC?

Thanks in advance

Windows XP has a similar feature... it takes the pics on your "My pictures" folder and creates a slideshow as a screensaver....

and I think you can go into the screensaver settings and tell it how to display the photos.

There are tons of those out there. Ifyou do not like the one that is built into your OS, jusr head out to Download.com and do a search on it. You should find about 5 or 6 that match what you want.

That's the real question, isn't it. I'm looking for a free one.

a professor once told me that nothing is ever free. someone along the has paid for it in some way inorder to make it free for others. Like the buy one get one free deals you get. it costs the provider money to make those deals happen.

As for me free is free just as long as i'm not providing for it.
