Text Graphics Opinion Needed...
Hello again, I was just wondering if you guys could give me some input on this text graphic I made. I cut the file size down a little for my dialup buds, so the complete quality is not there...but you get the idea.
So, whaddya think?
Thanks!
Mike

I'd lose the lens flare, they are kinda cheesy now and don't really do anything for your text.

Pretty nice, altho i'm with GB on the lense flare... (but everyone has different tastes).
I think if ya went for like a "sparkle" on the letters it would with the gold look of them... Like ya know like they do on those toothpaste commercial's to show sparkling white teeth hehe Yeh that sparkle effect...
edit: man i really need to get back onto cable... Have ya ever used a program called "Cool3D", its made by ulead. Checkout www.ulead.com they should have a demo of it. Pretty kewl program for making simple 3d animated text.

Ok, ok...bye bye lens flare! I wasn't aware that it was cheesy now, I'm just getting into this graphics stuff.
I would slow it down, but then it looks too choppy...I threw this together pretty quickly, so I didn't want to make too many frames.
Thanks though, anything else I can do for cool text?
How's this look? |

I like the 2nd one better than the first. It could be a touch lighter in color but that would depend on the background. Are those diamonds on the first block of text?

I like that 2nd one, but would be better if the edges were smoother...

Yeah Martoch, the lens flare is like gratuitous sex scenes in movies nowadays. Everyone does it because its there.
I feel it detracts from the text you have there, which in itself looks great.
The second one is nice too, very savage looking. You might want to adjust the tracking between the T and the A

Hey looks great is it animated? (I cant view animated gifs with 2k3) The texture is awsome, teh outer bevel looks a bit fake though maybe try a few diff effects to make it look real.
