whats a good cd burner

im looking to buy a new one because i think mine is warn out. i had it for about a year and burn over 600 cds. so i need a new one. anyone have any suggestions and how long does it take for a burner to wear out ? this burn i have now is a 24x12x40

Lite-On is the name brand of a popular and low cost CD-RW. You can go to NewEgg and search for Lite-on... usually they go for around $50 or so and burn very well = little/no coasters.
