Kids AMD based system ideas

I am in the process of putting together a system for a mate and I am looking for some opinions on the following kit:
  • AMD Athlon "Barton" XP2500+ 333FSB
    ASUS A7N8X Deluxe nForce2 Motherboard
Two sticks of Corsair 256MB DDR XMS3200 CAS2
Leadtek Winfast A280 TD MyVIVO GeForce4 Ti4800 128MB DDR TV-Out DVI (bit of a random guess)
And a couple of quick follow up questions:
  • Is the MB likely to come with SATA cables (as it includes SATA controller)?
Is it worth using an SATA drive over a standard IDE disk?
Must I buy the RAM in matched pairs for a dual channel board or can I just use 2 sticks of the same make/model?
Would a branded 350W PSU be enough to run a Barton based system?
Any opinions on Leadtek graphics cards (total junk or just a bit of a bargain)?
As allways any advice is greatly appreciated.

Regards

eddy

actually your putting together a very good combination of hardware already. the video card is among the best cards. i suggest also you go for a 475 W branded PSU (i.e enermax or HEC)

Excellent, thanks guys. My main concern with the graphics card was that it seemed to be suspiciously cheap at £130 for a Ti4800 with all those features (vivo, dvi etc) but I guess its just a bit of a bargain. Hmm the site lists it as a 4800 but I am starting to think its a 4200.

Anyone know about the matched pairs of RAM as I see people selling them but would rather be able to pick my own if its not going to be a problem?

Thanks again

ed
