difference in RAM?
Look at this and then look at this
What is the differnce? Duh, the color os the heatsink is different. The only noticable diference is that one has PT at the end ot it's name.
Anyone know what PT means?

no idea maybe it is the company that makes the ram chips themselves .

The other has aluminun heat spreaded whilst the other has platinum.

mmmm good point.
So basically, absolutley no differnce. I like Silver better..so there is my choice.

from what i am told look for ram with windbond chips on them . i hear you can get them on lower priced ram and they are supose to be very good .

The Platinum heat spreader works better...normally it's more money

Oh crap! Remember when I started this post! I wanted to buy one the RAMs and they were both $92.50. Now they are $112! Good god! That sucks.

Yup, the only difference is the heat spreader. I have that same memory in 128mb sticks with the silver heat spreaders. It's some good stuff that overclocks well. |

I can't believe these prices I'm seeing!!! What happened? Prices for RAM were steadily dropping for a long time, and right when I get the money to buy some THEY SKYROCKET!
I can't find this RAM taht I used to be able to find for $85-$85 FOUR weeks ago @ at ANY price less than $112!! WHat is going on?????????? WHY ME!!!!
