Kids Outlook express

When sending emails and emails with attachments through outlook, the send box indicates an error but no error message comes up in the window. To add to the confusion,....the messages and attachments are sent, they just never leave the outbox and never show up as sent.
I have spent over 1.5 hours with tech support from our ISP and all of the settings for the mail server are correct and they show no problems on their end(email seems to be fine according to them).
We are on windows 2000 and are running through a netgear websafe router. This problem started on the second of June and had never been an issue until that day.
Thanks for any help you can come up with,..I'll try nearly anything (dancing around the computer didn't work.)

Please stop re-posting your question in multiple forums.

Not everybody that is good at Outlook Express is on 24/7 to answer questions so a little patience is required. I'll PM a mod to have the extranneous threads closed.

Question....
Is that Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook??
Ok...in some cases anti virus s/w prevents outgoing mails.Disable auto protect of the anti virus first.
If this doesn't work for you type regedit in run HkeyLocal Machine->Software->Microsoft->Windows->Current Version->Run and delete all the keys which are unwanted(remember these are the start up programs which gets loaded during start up)
See if this works for you.

virus software

I have tried turning off virus protection once before and no go. I will try the registry keys...but if I delete these will I have trouble at start-up?

registry edit

I tried deleting the un-needed keys and I am still having the problem. This is with Outlook Express and I have all the current updates.
Any other ideas? I'll all ears.
