Heat, LCD vs. CRT

I'm in a small room with 2 computer running and a 17 inch CRT. The AC is on, but after like 30 minutes the temperature in my room raises up to 6 degrees. So right now its about 84 degrees in my room and its unbearable. The CRT gives off a lot of heat, you can just feel it when I put my hand on top of it. I'm looking at a 17 LCD. How much heat do they put off?

almost nothing. A guy ver at AMDmb.com he's actually experiencing a decrease in the CPU and System temps!

Don`t ask me why but 6deg C less is a lot.

I just purchased my first 17"LCD!

woot.

I don;t think its the monitor that is the issue for me... 4 cows in my box bedroom running 24x7.... damn is it warm - and that is with a fan blasting them as well!!
