DDR Heat Spreaders?

I've seen various different heat speaders advertised. Standard, Platinum, Silver, etc... are there any disipation benefits of one over the overs, they all seem to be about the same price.

I wouldnt buy aftermarket ones---if they are applied to a new module by a quality manufacturer its a good thing...

And it runs perfectly.

using overclocked ram is ok as long as you know it is . some vendors use pc2700 that will do pc3200 put heat spreaders on them and say it is pc3200 and sell it to ya at pc3200 price not 2700 thats more of what i mean .

Just because it comes w/ heat spreaders doesn't mean it's exaggerated.

true because it has them doesn't mean the memory isn't rated right .
