Kids Norton & McAfee AV Deletion Question

How do I COMPLETELY delete Norton & McAfee Anti-Virus software from my computer?

Is there a utility that is not associated with either of those companies that will do the job?

Reason for this is that a co-worker installed an old version of McAfee and then decided she didn't like it. Therefore she then installed an old version of Norton AV. After using that for awhile and deciding she didn't like that one she upgraded the old norton to the newest version, but it didn't update so well and screwed everything up. Now, she has gone and tried to uninstall all the software but it has left alot of junk behind and gives her error messages all the time. Also, she can't re-install then to rid herself of the errors.

What do we do???????????????/

Send a message via AIM to iNeb
To completely remove it reformat

Anyways, i would say there is an old norton file in msconfig starting uo everytime windows starts, that's why it pops up errors.

I don't know all the places, but you need to delete the norton folder and registry keys, maybe use a registry cleaner to clean old files from the registry such as norton?
