XP Pro to simulate WIN 2K

I have a scanner that works in WIN 2k but not in WIN XP. I am looking for a function to ( in WIN XP) to simulate WIN 2K so I can use the scanner?

have you gone to the scanner site to find drivers? if they dont have any drivers for winxp (a problem with older hardware and newer os's) you could look for a generic driver.

there is no compatibility mode for hardware.


if you only find drivers for win2k, you might want to try those and see if that works.
