Recommended Linux Software for Linksys Routers

1) ddclient: Used to periodically check the router's WAN IP address and update it with DynDNS if it has changed.

2) Linksysmon: Used to log activity from the router. I have a linked table set up in Microsoft Access that points to the linksys.log file; I can keep all of the logs in a database for future reference. I wish this logging program supported the firewall logs for the BEFSX41 (maybe I'll get a reply to my email).

linksysmon was cool and usefull untill I stopped using it. I killed it and deleted it BUT IT STILL SENDS ME EMAILS!!!

Not sure what to do here

Are you sure you removed the /etc/linksysmon.conf file?
