Well after alot of pain and crap I've settled with the dorko that rear-ended me a few months back. I've managed to get some money out of it and Im debating on whether to spend the money on go fast goodies for my truck or on a laptop. The laptop will definitely be useful for my classes that I'll be takin soon (upper division and stuff). So Im looking for a pretty good laptop. If Im gonna get something I want it to be nice

The main focus is a decent quality screen (15"), a 2.0Ghz or higher processor and a decent amount of ram. The graphics card is always a plus too and I know that the Radeon 9000 mobile is decent. Anyway, I've looked around at Powernotebooks.com and they seem to have decent preconfigured packages and I know they have great reviews on resellerratings.
But does anyone have any other avenues that I can look into as far as manufacturers. The dell's are definitely nice notebooks but the times I have looked at them in the past they seem a bit pricey but they also have some great tech support if something goes out (So I hear of course). Any insights into this will be great. Thanks for the info!
