Magnetic Shielding?

I have a fan under my desk and when i turn it on it chages my monitor making me degluss every 1.5sec. I think its beacuse of a maginet\c interfearence. any way to shild it wor something?

Large motors are notorious for causing magnetic interference. You can shield your monitor by placing it in a hefty iron box... but that's not practical. The easiest thing to do is to move the fan farther from the monitor.

Well hardrives have magnetic shielding in them. You could take about 60 old harddrives and open them up take the little shielding plates out and make a shield out of that but the best thing to do is just move the fan.
