laptop display problem

The laptop was dropped and i had to replace the display but after a week or so it has started to flicker and gradually get brighter until it becomes stable again but is very bright and wont adjust to where u can use it for any length of time ( gets kinda hard on the eyes). Its a Dell Lattitude C600 and i have updated bios and video drivers for the ati mobility m3 video. The card looks fine but could it have a hairline crack that when heat is present it causes problems...and also Windows 2000

You just had the laptop repaired by Dell and now a week later you are having some problems?

IMO that sounds like something dell should be fixing since they replaced the display in the first place.
