Monitor advice

Right, Looking to buy a Flatscreen monitor, I've had my eye on this one: http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=48560
Can anyone offer some advice? Has anyone bought this monitor and wants to share their thoughts?
It comes with a 3 year warranty, but I haven't been able to find any reviews or what. Should I buy it? The only other one that MAY be an option is:
http://web6.scan.co.uk/Products/Info.asp?WPID=46109
But I doubt I could afford it.

I would go for a GNR one, on the same site, same section.

I built a pc for a friend a couple of weeks ago with one of them, its the 'dogs dangly bits'.

Cost a little bit more though, but same warranty and it looks lovely.

i think , i don't own one , you want to get a flat pannel with a high contrast ratio of like 400 or better and low responce time , under 20 ms . thats what i have read . if it cost 10-20% more i think you won't mind it if it means a better quality picture .

Yeah, that GNR one looks better, and its a name I recognise. I don't want to end up with a screen that takes like .2 seconds to show the mouse moving. I might wait a bit longer though, even though ebuyer is a bit cheaper than other places (for some stuff) its not as good because I have to pay a £15-£20 surcharge on delivery for being offshore (even though I'm not) grrr.

Yeah, that sucks.

I find EBuyer great from who I was using (Dynamic Computer Services) Sooooo much cheaper.

I dont think the refresh is that slow on the GNR, but then I hav'nt had that much experience with flat panels.

The longer you leave it though, the cheaper they will probably get anyway
