Monitor suggestions

I have a about $200 to spend on a new monitor...I just got a KDS XF-9b 19" flatscreen...had to take the first one back...and on both the geometry is the worst I've ever seen on a monitor...I can't stand it anymore.

I need a 19" flatscreen that will push 1600x1200 @ at least 70hz...

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking at Viewsonics...I've heard good things about them...but I won't buy another KDS again.

i have to agree KDS blow...i have a 15" KDS and after leaving the monitor on it goes insane...the options come up and wont go away..... nothing can be adjusted the options WONT come up when i WANT it to...it only does this after its been running it then stretches the screen....and before i know it the screen turns grey, then pink, then blue, then dead.....not powersave mind you it is still in regular mode but nothing....i then have to cut it off for about 30min for it to run another hour and then back to its old tricks.....STAY AWAY FROM KDS

i would have to disagree .. i think KDS makes nice monitors . my roommate bought a kds 19vsn out 4-5 years ago and he is still very happy with it . just had a buddy get the same monitor you are talking about , xf-9b , from www.techonweb.com for like 183$ shipped .

now i have a princeton ultra96 i got at fry's for 119$ AR , and yes i got the rebate back , and i am very happy with it . also about 2 weeks ago best buy had the MAG 971fs-s onsale for 99$ after the rebate . i picked one up i haven't tried it yet but if it anything like my buddies 17" mag he got in 96 i think , he is still useing it now , i will be very happy with it .
