You're using 3D mark 2003, this is not a terrible score. I got 1433 w/ the same setup and a radeon 8500. Most video cards still aren't built for directx 9 so your score won't be so high. You are probably looking fore a 10,00 plus score, but those are 3DMark 2001 scores, which, of course, are much higher.

Your lucky you can even run that benchmark. Me and my freinds are still using GeForce2's (at that) don't even score as good as you did in '03 when were using '01se!

is it comparable to others with the same VC? Even if it's in the top 40 percentile, I'd say your doing good. Too many variables give oh so many scores. That benchy slow even the most powerful systems. It's sort of used to make you feel like you need a new VC. Neat marketing huh?

I have almost the exact same setup and get the same results (1527 3dMarks). I have a P4 2.66, 1GB Ram, and the same video card (Card name: NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 with AGP8X). I read about people who normally get 15,000 + 3dmarks. I feel better now after reading this thread.

the 15,000+ are for 3dmark01 (I've hit 19,893); I'm guessing you're running 3dmark03. That score is low because your vid. card is holding you back.
