Problem wif IE (xp pro)

Hey there is a problem that i am experiencing now.

Whenever i double click on the IE icon on my desktop the browser pops out and loads for a very long time and 99% of the time always go Not responding.

Does anyone hav any idea whats going on?

Need some history. When was the last time it worked? What changes have you made to the pc since then?

do you have service pack 1 installed?

do you have all the recent updates installed for ie6?

I'm not really a computer guy and i'm really sure when this error started to happen. But below is the error the prompted me when i ended the program.

Hey i hav the same problem again and the last time it onli helped me for a short period of time only

Now i intend to reinstall Internet Explorer 6. Is it a good idea to do so and how do i install IE6 or rather what do i use to install IE6 or where do i install it??
