LOW 3dmark2001 Score...Help please!

My specs:
Pentium 4 2.4Ghz @ 533mhz CPU
Albatron 865PE pro Motherboard
1Gb PC2700 DDR Ram (CRUCIAL)
128mb Nvidia FX5200 Ultra 8x AGP DDR Video card
Windows XP (no service pack 1)
MAxtor hard drive 7200 rpm ata133

3Dmark2001 score ONLY 4300!!

Any idea whats wrong? my 1800 Athlon XP was scoring much higher.

More than likely your video card than anything else...my P4 1.4 scores over 10,000 with a ATI 9500 pro...the 5200FX is not a high performance card.

Put the FX card in the AMD machine and benchmark it...see what the difference in scores is...(unless you've done that already...what were the AMD scores and what video card?)

Both those are incredibly low. I used to have an AthlonXP 1800+ and it scored almost 7500 with a GF3 Ti 200...

My 2600+ gets just over 10,000 with the same card.

What drivers are you using for the card?
