win xp license purchase

i noticed the ad for a win xp license for $113.00. what i am wondering is this:

if you already have a win xp pro cd and you purchase the xtra license, does that mean you can use that cd(or any other win xp pro cd,for that matter) to install(legally) the OS on another computer??

i see that os(including cd) is much more expensive than $113.00

thanks,eh?

brad

It has to be a licence that mathes the Cd you have though.
OEM / Upgrade / Retail / Home / Pro
It has to match and you may want to call the retailer and get them to verify it will work with your version.
