nvidia and xp

i have a computer running xp pro. I have an nvidia geforce 2 card which runs fine under 98se, me, but when i use it under xp, i get a blue screen on boot up, irq_not_equal_or_less_than, and the computer keeps rebooting until i remove the card.

Anyone any ideas ?

Have you removed the old drivers before you boot into xp?

do you mean remove all nvidia drivers and then boot in to xp pro without reinstalling any drivers.

If you do I havent, cos I was using a dual boot xp pro/98se system.

Yes that is what I was referring to when you boot to the xp partitiond do you have the xp drivers from nvidia or do you have the 98 drivers or do you have both?

have tried with both and with 98 only, but i might just try a computer running xp by itself and see what happens
