Linux: Slide Show with Sound?

I'm looking for a nix program that can create slide shows with sound and save in a format that will also run on a Windows box?

Couldn't you just run OpenOffice's Impress and save it as a powerpoint (or an Impress document if you have OO on the windows machine)?

Yes, but I was hoping that there was something that was specific to slide shows.

I nosed around SourceForge and found a couple of good GPL slide show apps, but neither one included sound. One was a java based app so it's cross-platform.
