strange windows error

attached is a shot of the error. Anyone haveany idea what it is?I have never seen it before.
It doesn't happen when I take out the network card, so it is related to that I think.
Also when I install Internet sharing it freezes at the time it verifies password with the isp.
What is going on here?

I am running win98SE.

Any help would be great
thanx

Thats a lovely shade of blue screen you got there!

Have you tried updating the drivers for the NIC?
When did this start? fairly recently or been going on for a bit?

started last night. Now it's a network nightmare.I finally pulled the card, and removed the internet sharing adapter just to get here to find out what was wrong with it. lol.

also it says when I reeboot that it has an IP conflict with the other machine, interfdace has been disabled.

And I can't get into safe mode either, it gets to the splash screen, and reboots.

Stupid computer

You are actually suffering a stack fault error.

This error can occur when Windows 9x encounters an internal overflow of the stacks used by 32-bit Windows device drivers. BTW, this is not related to the "Stacks=" line in the Config.sys file, which is used for 16-bit MS-DOS device drivers.

Your network card is referencing a stack, but none are available since you current limit is 4. Removing the card will solve the problem.

To resolve this situation, add the following line to the [386Enh] section of the System.ini file and then restart your computer:

MinSPs=10

Each spare stack page requires 4 kilobytes of memory. Now re-install the network card and network connections, and hopefully your problems will disappear.

Thanx RR I will try this. Will a different NIC solve the problem as well?Or is it within windows that has to be deal with?
