that doesn't seem right 8.4 mb per sec and 1mb per sec of storage and 1sec to d/l the file wouldn't it be a higher storage rate and lower d/l transfer rates?? and 8.4 it like way fast isn't that even faster than t3? wonder what type of connection it would be?

Yep, did the test while at my dad's office this morning. University he works at has T3, I think.
Too bad we only have 56k at home.

No, 8.4 is Megabits per second, not Megabytes. The storage and dl are megabytes.

Lol, unforunately, I don't think the university's computer services will be too pleased to find someone hogging the bandwidth with a game server. Come to think of it, neither would my dad.

8.4Mbit = win

Good speed for hosting an FTP server, but I would prefer 10Mbit/s Ethernet

I believe that T3 is capable of 45Mbit/s max.
