Chieftec Case dohicky

Maybe someone out there that owns a chieftec case can answer this one.

I just got my new case (chieftec dragon), and there is a purple plastic thing inside of it that has 6 holes. the plastic thing is shaped like this ----> [ <----.

What is this thing? The best guess I could come up with was that it is to route wires through. Am I right?

At first im thinking the fan cages look like that (I dont think yer talkin about that)---check out Neweggs pics of the case---can you point it out for definition using any of those images?

Ive used a few of those for folks, dont have one handy---but im curious now...

It's not in any of those pics... Let me look for a minute and see if I can find a pic of it somewhere.

If you are looking inside the case from where the panel pops off you see drive rails on the bottom of the case, there is a fan mount below a metal box that comes out if you work a lever. Just past that mount and box is the mysterious Dohicky.

that purple thing next to the fan is just a wire holder so that you can organise your wires goin thru it . not of any real importance if that is what you are talkin about
