Why are the times incorrect?

I was looking at a thread I responded to and it said 6:24p.m. and I know I responded to it around 2 or 3 this afternoon!

Maybe something with the site but I was just curious as to why the time is different?

change the times in your user control panel you must have the offset wrong

I just posted this and it tells me it is 11 something and I am in Tennessee

If you go to the forums home page and look on the far right side of the screen, you will see something like this:

Welcome back, Kuasimodem. View your recent posts.
The time now is 05:49 PM.
You last visited: 06-05-2003 09:13 PM.

If the time that it says doesn't jive with your local time, then you will have to go into the User CP and reset the local time offset.

when you say change the times in my control panel what do you mean I am on eastern standard time and am clueless please give me more specifics. Thank you

go to user cp>edit option all the way to the bottom and it will say gmt -5hours eastern time us canada and some other stuff

so I am supposed to go to my control panel then click on edit or is this on this site where I do this because I am lost here?

ok lyou are lost but I'll help ya get found...click on your techimo user control panel the click edit options scroll to the bottom of the page there is a drop down menu and click on gmt- 5hours eastern time that should fix ya right up

ok guys I was extremely lost I never really mess with the options on this site ask some of the people here! But thank you RicheemxX and everyone else my time is now correct. Thank yall again
