How do you get the remote to work? I can't seem to figure it out...it's all connected up and the default software is installed

now it'll turn the FM tuner off, but not turn it back on. It'll also change the channel and volume. It just won't turn the stupid thing on

Also I'm having sound problems, im not sure if it is because the cable from the tv to my pc is to long. The Cable is about 50 feet and has a white, red, and s-video connection.
