I just got my 9800 Pro and dedcided to run Doom III Alpha just for kicks. With zero tweaks and running the demo on high quality, The lowest FPS I would get was 12 when fighting zombies where 3 were on the screen at once. The lighting, shadows, textures, and detail were just unreal. I downloaded the control panel for the card, so now I can tweak a few settings, and also downloaded rage3d tweak to O/C the card. Amazing card. Anybody else have one that they have successfully O/C'd? How high could you go on the stock cooling? Tomorrow I'm taking off the heatsink fan combo and I'm going to lap the thing and put on A.S. This fall, I'll have it water cooled.
