command line virus scan

Just like it says, looking for a command line virus scan.
Just looking for what's out there to add to my tool box.
Just something to have on cd, so that you can boot to dos, and run a virus scan within dos off the cd.

Are any of the main ones able to do this, and what files do you need with it, and how easy to upgrade those files with newest signatures?
Or is there a virus program out there that you guys use for this
thanks,
dragonb

p.s. also a problem, recognizing ntfs, fat32, etc Will they do that?

I use AVG, it's free, to create a "rescue" diskette(s) and make it part of my startup diskette menu. The updates are always free and all I do is keep remaking the diskette(s) whenever an update is released.

It's the first thing I do when I work on a machine for someone. You gotta check for viruses first.

Looking forward to what others have to say.
