Which memory for 'Compaq Deskpro' ?

Earlier I had a friend on the phone with computer problems and the way she described it, it sounds like her memory has gone bad. The only info she can give me is :

Compaq Deskpro
Pentium II
128MB RAM

is that standard 168pins sdram ? pc66, 100 or 133 ?
or did they put something more exotic in those compaqs ?

It's probably 168 pin sdram. PC66 or PC100. If you had the model # of Deskpro you could go to www.crucial.com and look under "find your system here". It steps you thru by asking you questions and tells you the type of memory you need. Like I said before though, you're gonna need the number that goes behind the Compaq Deskpro name.

What os also if its XP I just built a computer and thought it was slow with 256ddr 2100 and am going to have to upgrade!

Not sure about the model number, but looked at some Pentium II models on the crucial site and they all seem to have standard 168 dimms. I was afraid it was going to be some proprietary stuff.
