From what I've heard, yes. I haven't yet played 9 or 10 since they only released them for PS1, but hopefully someday. Fans have told me 9 and 10 are even better than 7. (8 was a real low point...)

I havent played FFIX but I'm positive that Final Fantasy X is a good game, I have spent a lot of hours on it and I enjoyed all of them, Its quite linear and not as open as the previuos games, but it has a great history it makes me remember how good FF7 was..

Well if you've enjoyed any of the previous FF's then I say a BIG YES! I fell in love with FF9 and a few months ago purchased FFX, and it was well worth the 50 bucks I spent on it. THat's a rarity for me. My only complaint as was mentioned above is that the game is very linear. Again, that's the ONLY drawback to the game, IMO. The FMV's are fantastic and gameplay is very smooth.

I give it an enthusiastic 2 thumbs up!


By the way, anyone have any other good RPG's that are worthwhile for the PS2? I'll be finishing FFX in a month or so.
