Dual Monitor Help

I have a GF4 Ti4200 and i just bought an adapter to convert DVI to VGA, and am now running Dual Monitors. I was wondering if there was any way that i can run a game on one monitor and have something else like AIM open on the other. I mean i know it is possible, but when i go over to the monitor with aim on it in the middle of the game, it shifts focus and minimizes the game. I was jsut wondering if there is a way to keep this from happening. Thank you in advance, and if you want IM me at ROTCPilot85 on AIM with any advice.

Unfortunately there`s no way around that in Full Screen Mode.

You can try running the game in Windowed mode.
