Ftp server + router = bad. Help.

so i have my server running. all that is setup right i hope. i have bulletproof running and it seems to be working. i have the port BP is set on fowarded on the router. problem is no one i know that is behind another router/firewall can access it. i am trying to set it up so the people i host can upload files and such to the webserver. the one guy that isn't behind a router can upload/download but my other friend cannot. any ideas?

its a linksys wired/wireless.

thanks

Do you have it setup to allow PASV connections?

turning off and on passive mode should be with the client prog. look in the connection settings of the programs. or load up the program help and type passive mode

what router are you using btw?

...Passive mode would help. The server must bet setup to use PASV to use it at all.

well he was trying it in IE i think. and i just had some issues with BP so i have to reinstall it. but thats no biggie.
i'll have him try that when he gets back online.
i was going to edit and ask if there is another good ftp server prog out there. but BP seems to be the normal one.
