Users and groups 4 win2000

there is someone in my class that keeps getting into my personal folder.
They have deleted docs. how can I stop whoever it is and find out who it is?
Also, when you take all of the rights away from the administrator to access the computer, how can you get that setting back?

Methods depend on the environment.

1) Is this your personal computer?

2) Do you ahve Administration rights to this computer?

3) Do other users use this computer?

4) Is this computer part of a domain?

One easy way would be to tell the instructor, lol....then they can setup an audit on the computer to see who is accessing the folder and when.

Maybe the instructor would setup each user with a name and password.....but if its just one of those deals where everyone who signs in is an administrator, then it will be kind of hard to stop it.

You could always take a floppy and store the stuff on there.
