Email database program??

Hello,

The boss wants some type of program to keep track of a large number or emails (2000) and categorize them into size, industry, etc. He said he used a similar program 6 years ago somewhere but he doesnt remember the name of it. Basically what I am trying to do is emaila bunch of recruiters at once with information on people looking for jobs and such. But the recruiters have to be categorized like I said before. Does anyone have any Idea? I am just using some PHP code now to email EVERYONE but that is not very efficient and Im a crappy coder.

On another note....I have an excel file with the 2000 people's emails and names....what would be the best way to get rid of duplicates and stuff?

Thanks for any help.

Why not just use the "group" function in OE or Outlook.

You'd have to pre-determine which recruiter belongs to which group. Then Create the first group->add all the recruiters to that group and email away..

Well you see....if you are adding them to a group and send mail to the group it does not BCC it so they can see eachother's email, which is not good. Unless there is a way in OE or Outlook to BCC everyone in the group then its not an option.

I have the answer to all you problems RIGHT HERE!!!

That is the best program ever!!!
It is far better than anything that outlook could even think about doing.

I've been using it for some time now and I love it. It is very easy to use and is great for keeping things organized.

Also, try THIS to verify that the email that you have are accurate.

wow this is a cool mail program. I think I will stick to OE as the mail client but I will use G-Lock to import the email addresses. THANKS!!
