Kids RAID Controllers

Has anyone had any experience with SIIG RAID controllers? I am looking at one that has two channels, supports O, 1, O-1 modes. You can attach both hardrives and cd-roms. It also comes integrated with three ext. 2.0 USB ports and two IEEE 1394 ports, neither of which I have on my mobo.

The model number is: SIIG JU-NNBRR11 I can pick one up for $97 shipped. Has anyone used this particular card and if so, what do you think of it?

Thanks!

ChrisK

I've heard of them, but I don't know if they're any good. Sounds like a good price though. Is that ATA 133? My last RAID card was a Highpoint. Good card. Promise is good too, of course. Try a Google search for SIIG+RAID+Reviews or something.

Thanks, I will do that. I have used Promise before with out any trouble (unless it was integrated on the MOBO). Highpoint, it seems to me that you either love them or hate them. And, yes, it is the ATA 133 version. It would be good to use that feature on my HDD's. Maybe I could squeeze out a few more Mbs.
