Overheating help...

I just add a 512 ddr ram to my computer... and every 30 min or so my computer give me a message that it is overheating and it shuts it down and restarts. It didnt do this when i didnt have the extra ram on... any suggestions?

what are the specs of your computer including cooling

just tell us what kind of fans and how many you have in your system....cpu cooling device..........etc

Open it back up, make sure you haven't dislodged of disconnected anything. Adding ram should not cause a sys to overheat.
