Um, my monitor is messing up

Right, every few seconds, my monitor is doing something odd. Sort of like what happens when you degauss. I don't reckon this should be happening, and this monitor already went screwy once before - the OSD just went haywire when I never even touched it, then it messed up a pile of modes and locked me out. I can still use the monitor, and do so as its my biggest one availiable, but I can't use half the modes I used to as they are skewed and stretched off the screen.
Any idea what to do about either of these problems. The monitor is a Philips 107S, and I would really like to go back to using vga=795 for my bootup screen.

I'm looking at the very same monitor. I keep using it because it's still fairly crisp and bright, but I have some of the same problems. The OSD is competely useless. My solution will be to replace it, soon I think.

bah, I was certain I had a 3 year warranty, but I can't find the sodding card. I must have lost it in the move - or been mistaken in the first place. Next time I will make sure I get a decent suport package as monitors are the main thing I can't really do anything about. I can resolder caps and SMDs on various boards etc, ah well. I'll keep using it for now.
