Have you seen the Counter Strike single player addition coming out? I saw the write-up in this months, uh PCWorld maybe? Said graphics are still improved on, and the A.I. is improved also.

halflife is awesome its one of those games that everyone likes even if the graphics arent as high end as todays games you know? games like Duke3D or doom.......hell i even like playing the old Wolfenstein 3D every now and then

a good friend of mine flunked out of college cause he'd spend 5 hours a day playing cs on his university's T3 connection. He'd just sit in his dorm room playing cs and smoking cigarettes.

and games like HL, CS or Doom are great because of their gameplay. gameplay always means 10 times more than graphics.
