Enter the Matrix PC problems: dropping to desktop

i have beat the game w/ niobe, and am working on ghost. yet, whenever the game tries to load "got it!" on the first level, it just closes and drops to my desktop. i have no problems with this part of the map with niobe, so i dont understand. 3 different saved games in two different slots have been tried, but it wont budge. help?

you patch the game to 1.52?

i have a patch i downloaded about 3 days ago, didnt help. if you can, link me to the patch and i will try again.

nope the redownloaded patch didnt do the work. any other suggestions?

Perhaps a re-install is in order.... Ya should be able to keep a copy of all your current save games to re-use with a new installation of ETM.

i have 3 saved games, but only 1 game save file...do i move that whole file?

I would presume all the save games are in that one file....

But maybe to be safe, if you got the room, ya could make a copy of the entire game directory, then uninstall, reboot, reinstall, install the 1.52patch, then copy the "save" file across and see if that keeps the save games... If that hasn't kept the save games ya could then look thru the copy of the original install to see what else may contain the save game....

What are ur system specs? If they are minimum for matrix and the graphics card isn't good like a Riva128 or TNT maybe u need an upgrade!
