Kids Passed New 70-210

Hello all!!!

I just passed the 70-210 test today!!!

From what i understand it was the "new" test format the microsoft is using. It was only 50 questions. Not too hard. This is my first microsoft test so i do not know what the difference is between the old tests. I was nervous though, this being my first test since '97 when i went to ITT Tech.

Have a good day all!!!

Cool! I have no idea what the 70-210 is, but I know that the A+ was really hard when I took it so I can appreciate the fact that you succeeded.

this is the w2k-pro exam...it's usually the first one taken for people looking to get the MCSA/MCSE cert.

50 questions, eh? You must have blown it out of the water!

The "old" test formats consisted of a fixed number of "randomly"-selected questions. Everybody got the same number of questions.
The "new" format is known by M$ as the "adaptive" format. You start out with moderately-hard questions. If the test decides you are doing poorly, the questions start getting easier until it gives up and flunks you. If your performance is middle-of-the-road-ish, the exam takes the full amount of time allotted. If you do really well starting out, the questions immediately start getting harder. If you keep doing really well, the exam will decide "I've seen enough, already. You pass."

Congrats!

Thanks everyone!!!

I am happy to get that first test out of the way. Now that i know what the format is like, i hope to be able to focus more on what microsoft is looking when studying for the next test. From what i have learned from this test, it seems microsoft is also expecting you to have some real world experience.

For example, i had a question on adjusting the page file. I did not see that one coming.

Thanks again for the congrats. 70-215 is next.

Have a nice day all!!!
