My MORON friend came over and decided to install this thing for a P2P file sharing application I use for gathering music called "Kazaa Lite" (most of you should be familiar with it). Well, it supposedly speeds up downloads (which it actually did, A LOT

) but it's not worth what it contained. I was suspicious about it and ran Ad-aware and BOOM--spyware city. The whole process itself was a spyware program and whenever I opened any program including IE and musicmatch on my computer with internet connectivity, about 3 popups would come up. It was insane. I uninstalled it and cleaned out 1 process, 14 registry keys, and 2 registry values this EVIL program had installed on my computer. After I had run Norton and Ad-aware several times and made sure it was GONE, I felt safe, but now every once in a while Norton pops up and says "A file 'n-case' was removed without your permission". Great. Am I dealing with some undetectable virus? I've scanned both hard drives with AAW and Norton. I also have a network connected, so could this have possibly spread to other rooms in my house?
