SLOW INTERNET TODAY??????

i dont mean to whine, but my adsl (verizon) is like my 56k used to be. It takes about 15 seconds to load pages. is anyone elses internet miserably slow? is there a virus going around?

Mine too...but not Verizon...Corporate line...don't know why everything seems so slow today.

I wonder if it's got something to do with the latest mutation of the sobig virus. Apparently the b version mutated into the c version. It was supposed to automatically deactivate itself after May 31, but instead it mutated into a different version.

there seems to have been a dip in the traffic index and much higher response times until around midday US time, yes (see graphics lower on the page)
