Alright this is another thread like "what video card I should buy"?

Sorry but need suggestions.

I currently have a G3Ti200 Golden Sample and I`m getting 9000 3Dmarks.
I`m going to give this rig to my father in a couple of months and I will buy for him an LCD: though this card has only an Analog out. Sooooooo

What card can I get that would be faster than this one lets say around 11000 3dMarks and has a DVI out? Also DX9 built since he will do some minor gaming like Generals and others.

I would prefer to stick with an Nvidia one since he doesn't know anything about computers and I`m not in the same city he'll be.
IMO you just plug the Nvidia in and it goes.

How the heck are you getting 9000 3dmarks? I'm getting 6900 at best with a PNY GForce3 Ti200!

As for the card I've been hearing really good things about ATI's 9700 for being a cheaper Highend card. You should get at least 11000 3dmarks with the 9700. If I was you I'd get the 9700.

I'm waiting for ATI nextgen card...Rumors has it could be released in 2k3!

It s a Golden Sample, it is overclocked from Gainward already and its a great card!!

I get just over 10,000 marks with my 2600+/GF3 Ti 200

I'm going to wait a little longer to buy a new video card. I'm refusing to put up with another Radeon (multiple cards, hundreds of problems)...and I just want to wait for nVidia to fix 3DFX's mistakes.
