nero doesn't want to burn my mpg file after i split it

i split my movie with easy video spliiter in 2 then when it was done went to burn it and it wouldn't burn it would always abort tried changing settings and nothing works can it be the splitter when i went to properties it said it was mpg2 not mpg1 is there a better splitter to keep u at mpg1

Just get the Nero MPEG2 plugin .does the job and is about 900kb so its fast to get and you can split xvid - divx and burn em with no prob
